In our quest to share best practice within the forestry industry and to introduce Timbeter to newer adoptees, the team is once again hitting the road and demonstrating our pioneering technology to our global audience.
Each time we participate in a new event, we learn from professionals, students and event attendees of the local challenges they face within their own markets. During recent months our sales, engineering and management teams participated in exhibitions and forestry events on four continents. Timbeter became the spotlight of forestry enthusiasts, curious engineers and innovative professionals who are looking for a long-term solution for the industry and business.
Timbeter in Asia and Africa
Last year, CTO Martin Kambla joined the China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen. Timbeter was introduced to the Chinese market, plus the experience brought him invaluable insights of the asian market and their requirements regarding forestry technology that he and his team are adopting. From there on COO Anna-Greta Tsahkna headed to South Africa to learn more about how African nations export timber to the Chinese market.
Timbeter in North America
At the beginning of this year, the team went to North America, where we met big players from the United States for field tests regarding the implementation of digital methods to improve their work quality in the field. Simultaneously we attended the ForestTECHX event in Vancouver, where Visnapuu discussed how Timbeter is streamlining costs, sales and logistics during the Conference Program.
Timbeter in South America
In April, the team presented Timbeter at Expoforest, in Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, Brazil. During the three-day event, attended by over 40 000 people, the team introduced Timbeter to the Brazilian market. Expoforest put us were in front of the biggest pulpwood players in the world, with our booth one of the most visited in the exhibition’s static area. As a result, Timbeter is now firmly entrenched within the South American local forestry sector.
Timbeter in Europe
Following on our success in South America, our sales team visited both Carrefour International du Bois, in Nantes and Euroforest, in Saint-Bonnet-de-Joux. Both events gave us a holistic view of the French market. Among the 40,000 visitors, it was noticeable that Timbeter gaged the interest of sawmill owners, forestry management companies, pulpwood suppliers, and consultants. Furthermore, local journalists became more and more interested in an exciting and innovative tool.
Timbeter in Australasia
At the time of writing, Timbeter is engaged in both Australia and New Zealand, where CTO Martin Kambla and CEO Vallo Visnapuu are participating in a series of conferences about forestry and new technology at WoodFlow 2018 in both Melbourne and Rotorua.
Timbeter on the road
We believe that, by being present in different forestry events around the world, it’s easier to introduce Timbeter for new users, we also feel more present when our current users and prospect ask questions in person, what is always better for them to have a more visual and realistic demonstration. In general, being present in exhibitions is an excellent way to be seen and to understand people’s needs in different parts of the world.
Our mission is to spread industry knowledge to our global audience, and to that we attend the top forestry exhibitions around the world. The team relish demonstrating our technology and learning more about local challenges, and taking on board this feedback, further develop Timbeter to serve local markets.
