The latest update to Timbeter for Android devices includes support for Hindi. The new update is already available through the Google Play Store. This new language addition follows up the recent inclusions of Chinese and Italian.
With this new version, Timbeter is now available in 17 languages with more languages planned throughout the year. The update also included minor bug fixes to the User Interface of the mobile application.
Recently, there has been an increased interest from forestry industry companies in India, including forest products, pulp and paper, and timber importers. This addition will facilitate adoption of Timbeter in the market, which brings Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and cloud computing to the measurement of roundwood, logistics planning and data driven decision making support to the forestry sector.
To change the preferred language to Hindi, after downloading or updating the app, go to the top right corner of the App screen, click on the three dots and select “Settings”, then select “Language” and choose “Hindi”.
Timbeter allows to measure the diameters, volumes and trucks of wooden logs with practicality, speed and transparency using Artificial Intelligence. The solution can be easily used from smartphone or tablet, and all digital measurements can be managed in the cloud solution.
