From all of us at Timbeter, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. And we’d like to say a sincere thank you to everyone who measured, verified, tested, questioned, and trusted digital timber measurement with us this year.
2025 in numbers: Real work, real scale
This year wasn’t about flashy promises — it was about consistent, everyday use in real forestry operations.
- Over 910 000 measurements completed
- More than 25 million cubic meters of timber measured
These numbers represent log piles in rain and snow, roadside stacks after long harvesting days, sawmill yards under delivery pressure, and timber buyers needing fast, transparent volume data. They also represent fewer disputes, less manual work and paper, also clearer reporting and transparency across the supply chain.
Where we met the industry this year
Forestry is global — and so was 2025 for Timbeter.
We had the privilege of meeting professionals, partners, and decision-makers at key industry events and initiatives, including:
- COP30, where we highlighted how practical digital tools support forest transparency and data-driven sustainability
- Tallinn Digital Summit, dicussing the importance of digital transformation in all industries
- Show Florestal 2025, engaging with forestry operators focused on modernizing field workflows
- Forestry seminars in Poland, discussing scalable, field-ready measurement solutions with practitioners
These conversations reinforced a shared reality: digital transformation is a jourrney, not and end-destination.
Expanding across borders and forest types
This year, Timbeter continued to grow — not just in numbers, but geographically and operationally.
We welcomed new clients in:
- Iceland, marking our entry into Nordic island forestry
- Paraguay, expanding further into South American forestry operations
- Mexico, supporting timber measurement in a diverse and fast-moving market
At the same time, we progressed into the second stage of nationwide digital timber measurement rollout with Polish State Forests, a milestone that demonstrates trust at scale.
Each new region brings different assortments, standards, and operational realities — and that’s exactly what continues to strengthen our platform.
Sustainability, practically applied
Sustainability isn’t a checkbox - it’s accurate data, traceable volumes, and fewer errors across harvesting, transport, and processing. At Timbeter, we build sustainability into everyday forestry workflows by supporting better decisions, reducing waste, and increasing transparency across the timber value chain.
This year, Timbeter received R&D funding from the Estonian Environmental Investment Centre and the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency. This includes expanding our precision forestry technology from log and pile measurement into accurate assessment of standing forests - measurement of tree diameters, basal area, growing stock volume and other metrics directly in the forest.
In addition, Timbeter was selected to take part in Estonian Business and Innovation Agency’s year-long flagship Top Innovators programme, where we are embedding innovation more systematically into our operations and product development.
Looking ahead to 2026
The coming year will bring new products, new features, deeper integrations, and continued focus on what matters most:
precise measurements, trusted data, and digitalized forestry workflows
Whether you’re managing plantations, roadside inventories, sawmill intake, or timber purchasing across borders, we’re proud to be part of your process.
🎄 Thank you for measuring with us.
