Timbeter is proud to announce that it has received support from the Estonian Environmental Investment Centre (KIK) to develop cutting-edge green technologies. This initiative aligns with KIK’s mission to accelerate the green transition of the economy by fostering innovation and piloting sustainable solutions.
Transforming Forestry Through Digitalization
With this support, Timbeter is focusing on revolutionizing inventory processes for growing trees. Currently, tree measurements often rely on manual operations, which can be time-consuming and prone to error. Timbeter’s project aims to digitalize these processes, introducing a more efficient and accurate solution that reduces environmental impact and supports sustainable forestry management.
Project Timeline
The development and piloting of the new inventory technology will take place over two years, starting on October 15, 2024, and running through December 31, 2025. This extended timeline ensures a robust development phase, allowing for comprehensive testing and refinement of the prototype.
Empowering Green Tech Start-Ups
The support received by Timbeter is part of KIK’s broader initiative to back start-ups specializing in green technology. By investing in innovative solutions, KIK seeks to foster a sustainable economy and pave the way for a greener future.
